Does anyone have problems with PC guard from Virgin conflicting with vista?
I was having problems with my computer freezing and have noticed that when I exit PC guard it seems to be working smoother. Why is it that virgin still havn’t sorted this issue out. I can’t do real time spyware check as it causes my browser to crash and sometimes the whole computer.

Are there any programs that scan all PC hardware for problems?
I suspect there is hardware failing somewhere in my computer and I was about to begin using the different test programs available for testing the different hardware components (like memtest), but I was wondering if anyone can suggest any good tools or programs that can run a full test of all PC hardware for potential and existing problems. Do there exist any single program that scans your hard drive, motherboard, system memory, and peripheral cards (video, audio, network, etc.) for potential and existing problems?

Thanks for all your help in advance!

The program is Microsoft Silverlight and I downloaded it to listen to a radio stream online. It didn’t work, now I just want the program gone. When I try to delete the plugin, it says “The operation can’t be completed because one or more required items can’t be found. (Error code -43)”. Anyone know how I can delete this plugin? Or how to run silverlight successfully?
